Maincast

Maincast LLC, owned by prominent entrepreneur Maksym Krippa, is making waves in the media landscape by introducing two TV channels: Maincast Sport and Maincast. These channels, set to broadcast via OTT platforms and cable networks, will officially go live on November 30, 2024. The publication Zaporizhzhya News reported this concerning the confirmed decision of the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting.

Maincast Sport will spotlight sports programming, delivering live coverage of international tournaments featuring Ukrainian athletes. Meanwhile, Maincast will cater to a broader audience by offering diverse entertainment content, including original series and documentaries. Both channels will broadcast exclusively in Ukrainian, further promoting Ukrainian-language media and providing round-the-clock programming.

Maincast plans to roll out a dedicated sports OTT platform, Maincast.tv, as part of its broader strategy. This initiative aims to attract new viewers while strengthening support for localized broadcasts. Co-founder Vitaliy Volochay highlighted the importance of investing in quality content and promoting the Ukrainian language to shape the country’s future of esports and media.

Businessman Maksym Krippa, a key figure in esports and IT, views this venture as a strategic step to broaden his media portfolio. Known for his ownership of NAVI and involvement in developing the iconic game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. through GSC Game World, Krippa is leveraging his expertise to position Maincast as a leader in traditional and digital broadcasting.

The launch is also expected to foster collaborations with global media partners, offering a platform to showcase Ukraine’s cultural and sports achievements internationally. Maincast Sport will include live sports coverage, analytical shows, and exclusive interviews, while the entertainment channel will focus on showcasing contemporary Ukrainian storytelling and creative productions.

This expansion underscores Maincast’s commitment to innovation, quality programming, and the growth of Ukrainian-language content, setting new standards for the nation’s media industry.
